WHAT WE TAKE

All items must be modern (less than 10 years old), cleaned, complete and in working condition.

We currently have a one bin limit/visit to reduce backlog and to serve all our consignors.
During WINTER, we do NOT accept consignment on Saturdays to best serve our shoppers.
Gear Hut reserves the right to close down intake for the day when we are full.
If you have a LARGER drop off need, please CONTACT US to schedule an appointment.

Consignment Seasons
Gear Hut's year is split into 2 distinct retail seasons.
Summer season: April- August
Winter season: October- February
The months of March and Sept are a little funky at the shop! During transition we only accept "year round" items (ie: see notes at the bottom of this webpage; general apparel, camping, hiking & climbing gear). NO summer/paddling or skiing/winter items are accepted during transition.

WINTER CONSIGNMENT Season runs from Oct. 13th - Feb. 9th
NO consignment drop offs accepted on SATURDAYS in Winter!
Consigned skis/boards MUST BE 2014 and NEWER
-Resort skis with modern bindings
-Snowboards
-Snowboard bindings
-Ski and snowboard boots
-AT bindings, pin only
-Snowshoes
- Goggles, gloves and mittens
-Poles (sets only, not bent)
-Avy gear (beacons, probes, shovels)
-Accessories (goggles, hats, gloves)
-Winter apparel (by "Brands We Love")
**We collect ski recycling for any ski equipment that doesn't pass quality control or is older than 2014**
Items we will take YEAR ROUND
*Often in limited quantities in winter*
Climbing
*No soft goods, ie: slings, ropes, webbing, etc.
*No blown out shoes

Camping
*MODERN camp equipment, no glass
*Items must be CLEAN and operational
*No external frame backpacks
*Sleeping bags must include stuff sacks

Hiking & Backpacking
*Apparel should be from the "Brands We Love" list
*Footwear must include laces, insoles and tread
